Where do I log in?
Parents log in to their booking account at book.jcacademy.co.uk/login to view or manage bookings, update your child’s details and see payments. You can also use the Parent login button at the top of every page. New to JC Academy? Create an account.
How much does a holiday camp day cost?
Prices per child: full day 7.45am–6.15pm £36 (Camp Darwin, Camp Five Ways and Camp Coppice), 8.30am–5.30pm £33, 9am–3.30pm £27.50, and half days (8.30am–12.30pm or 1.30pm–5.30pm) £22. You can save 20% with Tax-Free Childcare.
What ages do you take?
Our holiday camps welcome children aged 5–12. Our after-school clubs are for ages 4–12.
What are the opening hours?
Our holiday camps open 7.45am–6.15pm at Camp Darwin (Lichfield), Camp Five Ways (Cannock) and Camp Coppice (Sutton Coldfield), and 8.30am–5.30pm at Camp Streethay, Camp Parkside, Camp Oakridge, Camp Littleton and Camp Outwoods. Shorter time slots can be booked at every venue.
Is it a day camp or overnight?
A day camp. Children come for the day (or a shorter session) and go home each evening. There are no overnight stays.
Which venue is nearest to me?
JC Academy runs holiday camps for ages 5–12 in Lichfield, Stafford, Cannock, Burton upon Trent and Sutton Coldfield, across 8 venues: Lichfield (Camp Darwin, Camp Streethay), Stafford (Camp Parkside, Camp Oakridge), Cannock (Camp Five Ways in Heath Hayes, Camp Littleton in Huntington), Burton upon Trent (Camp Outwoods) and Sutton Coldfield (Camp Coppice, Mere Green). How can I book a free trial?
You can book one free trial session at any JC Academy holiday camp in Lichfield, Stafford, Cannock, Burton upon Trent or Sutton Coldfield: a morning (8.30am–12.30pm), afternoon (1.30pm–5.30pm) or school hours (9am–3.30pm). Create an account with us and select "free trial" in the time slot section. Alternatively, email admin@jcacademy.co.uk to arrange your free trial session.
How do I book?
All bookings are made online. Create an account where you can add your child’s medical details and contact information, and amend or cancel bookings. If you’re having issues booking, contact us directly.
Do you accept childcare vouchers?
Yes! We are partnered with many voucher schemes, including Fidelti, Edenred, Kiddivouchers, Care4, Sodexo, Enjoy Benefits, Allsave, Computershare, Faircare, Co-op and TEDS. Can’t see your provider? You can request to add JC Academy through your voucher scheme website.
How can I pay using Tax-Free Childcare?
Once your Tax-Free Childcare account is set up, search your nearest venue’s Ofsted number to add us. Our Ofsted numbers are on the Ofsted website, or email admin@jcacademy.co.uk. You can then pay with 20% of your bill paid.
What will my child be doing?
We have thousands of activities tailored to the group’s age, interests and size, and there is always more than one activity happening so everyone has their best day. If your child would prefer to read in the quiet room or draw a picture, we always offer alternatives to the main activity.
What do I need to bring?
A packed lunch, a bottled drink and sensible, weather-appropriate clothing. Our venues are nut-free zones, so please leave nut products out of lunch boxes. Full details are in the parent pack emailed after booking (check your spam folder).
Do you offer any discounts?
We don’t currently have any discounts running, but keep an eye on our social media for upcoming offers. Existing families can also use Refer a Friend from their account.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can amend or cancel a booking yourself in your online account up to 48 hours before the session, free of charge. With less than 48 hours’ notice, please email admin@jcacademy.co.uk. 50% of the day balance is due for changes or cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice, and the full charge applies with less than 24 hours’ notice. Days not cancelled are charged in full. Refunds go back to the original payment source, including Tax-Free Childcare and vouchers.
Can I contact the club to speak to my child?
Yes, call the number on your club contact card, which you receive on your first visit. To change a booking, use your online account (48+ hours’ notice) or email admin@jcacademy.co.uk.
Can I speak to you about my child before they attend?
Of course. Email admin@jcacademy.co.uk and the club manager or admin team will call you back.
My child has additional needs, allergies or personal care needs. Can they still attend?
JC Academy accepts all children, and we welcome you to join us for a free trial first so you can see whether our club suits your family. Your child needs to be able to listen to safety instructions and follow basic expectations around keeping themselves and others safe. To meet us and bring along your child’s care plan, email admin@jcacademy.co.uk. Our venues are nut-free. We cannot currently offer personal care (including toileting) or 1-1 support due to our ratios.
