How can I book a free trial?You can book a free trial by creating an account with us and selecting free trial in the time slot section. Alternatively you can send an email to admin@jcacademy.co.uk to arrange a free activity morning.

Do you accept Childcare Vouchers?Yes! We are partnered with many voucher schemes such as the ones listed below. You can request to add JC Academy to your childcare list through your voucher scheme website.

How can I pay you using Tax Free Childcare?Once you have your Tax Free Childcare account set up, simply search your nearest venues Ofsted number to add us to your account. Our Ofsted numbers can be found on the Ofsted website, or you can contact us admin@jcacademy.co.uk to request. Once we are added to you account, you can make fast payments with 20% of your bill paid!

What will my child be doing at your clubs?All children enjoy doing different things, and we get that! We have thousands of activities all varying tailored on the groups age, interests and group size. There is always more than one activity taking place to ensure everyone is having their best day. We structure our days and always have something planned for the children to do, but be aware this may change if the children change their mind! If your child would prefer to read in the quiet room, or draw you a picture, we love seeing the children doing something they love and always offer alternative choices to the main activity.

What do I need to bring?Once you have made your booking, you should receive an email with our parent pack attached. This will give you full information on everything you need to bring, and much more. If you can't find this pack, please check your spam. In short, please bring a packed lunch, bottled drink and please wear sensible weather appropriate clothing.

My child is 4, can he/she still attend?4 years old can attend for up to 4 hours per day, this is in line with Ofsteds current guidance for providers on the childcare register. Once your child has had their 5th birthday they can attend any of our slots.

Do you offer any discounts?Currently we do not have any discounts running, but please keep an eye on our social medias for any upcoming offers!

Refunds and CancellationsWith more than 48 hours notice, cancellations are without penalty. Late cancellation charge - As of 1st January 2025, if you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, 50% of the day balance will be due in cancellation fees. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will result in a full charge. The same applies to changing of dates. Cancellations and date changes are only accepted via email to admin@jcacademy.co.uk. No show fee - It is very important that you cancel your booking as soon as you know you are unable to make it. Our camps often have waiting lists and if we are not aware that you cannot make your booking, we are unable to accommodate the families on the waiting list. You will be charged in full for days not cancelled. Cancellations are only accepted via email, and the period is 48 hours notice to avoid charges. Refunds will be issued to the original source, this includes tax free childcare payments and childcare vouchers.

Can I contact the club to speak to my child?Should you need to contact the staff at the club for any reason, you can do this by calling the number on your club contact card. You will receive this on your first visit. You may want to save this number for future holidays. If you want to call the office to make a change to your booking, please do this by calling 01543 651894 ​

How do I book?All bookings are made via our website. You will need to create yourself an account where you can input your childs medical details, contact information and also amend and cancel bookings. If you're having issues booking, please contact us direct.

I'd like to speak to you about my child before they attendIf you want to have a chat with us before your child starts, please send us an email at admin@jcacademy.co.uk and we will arrange for the club manager or admin team to give you a call back.

My child has additional needs / allergies / personal care needs. Can they still attend?JC Academy accepts all children, and we welcome you to join us for a free trial before you book. That way you can see whether our club is suited to your families needs, and to see if your child enjoys attending. It is vital that your child is able to listen to safety instructions and be able to follow basic expectations around keeping themselves and others safe. If you would like to meet with us and bring along your childs care plan, just pop us an email at admin@jcacademy.co.uk to arrange. Our venues are nut free zones, and parents are advised to leave nut product out of the childrens lunch boxes. We cannot offer personal care (including toileting), or 1-1 support at present due to our ratios.
